HKUEFPA Shenzhen Company Visit

HKUEFPA is organising a trip to visit several major companies in Shenzhen.  The trip will include meetings and discussions with officers of the relevant companies to better understand their operations as well as career opportunities. Details of the trip are as follows:  

Date: 21 May 2010 (Friday, Buddha's Birthday Holiday in HK), whole day Cost: about HK$100 to cover transportation in SZ (lunch will be separately shared at cost) Quota: 25 Eligibility: both HK and SZ students and alumni welcome

Selection criteria: based on discussion questions submitted and applicant's working experience, priority for HKUEFPA members*

Companies to be visited(tentative): 1. China Vanke Co. Ltd(万科集团) 2. A major PRC fund management company 3. A major PRC securities/investment firm  

To facilitate the meetings and discussions with the companies, all applicants are required to submit 3 questions for each of the 3 companies/industries and a brief description of their working experience. These will be used to select the successful applicants who will be notified in due course about further details and to make payment.  There will also be an optional networking dinner with the SZ MFin students after the trip.
