The HKU Business School Postgraduate Association (HKUBSPA)

(Former name: HKU Economics and Finance Postgraduates Association [HKUEFPA])

 

HKUBSPA (formerly named as HKUEFPA) is a not-for-profit organisation of Business School postgraduate students and alumni of The University of Hong Kong.

The HKUBSPA evolved from its predecessor, the HKU Economics and Finance Postgraduates Committee (the Committee), which was formed in January 2008 by twelve enthusiastic students and alumni from the Master of Finance and Master of Economics programs.

​

With strong support from the HKU Business School, the Committee organised various career and industry talks, seminars as well as outdoor activities in the following months. It restructured and expanded to fifteen members in September 2008.

​

To ensure the long-term development of the organisation and to enhance the transparency of its operations, the Committee was transformed into an association and officially incorporated as HKU Economics and Finance Postgraduates Association Ltd, a company limited by guarantee, on 21 November 2008.

​

HKUBSPA welcomes membership from postgraduate students and alumni of the University of Hong Kong Business School . Working closely with the HKU Business School, our goals are to promote the welfare of our members and the continuous development of postgraduate studies at the University of Hong Kong Business School.
