In this second installment of Career Talk Series organised by HKUEFPA and the School of Economics and Finance, we are delighted to welcome Mr. Eddie Liu to talk about job search processes and strategies for investment banking.  He will share both a local view and his global perspectives, including insights into search strategies, common pitfalls, and most crucially, provide a reality check to students and challenge their thinking.  

Eddie is currently Vice President of Human Resources at Nomura International (Hong Kong) with coverage responsibility for Global Markets.  He has been in Hong Kong since 2006 (originally from the US), and is also a soon to be graduate of the HKU MBA program.  Over his career he has worked in both entrepreneurial endeavors and in premier MNCs.  His experience includes:
